Choices to change lives is what two companies coming together to impact a generation. Wells Fargo a noted financial institution reached out to impact the lives to tommorrow’s youth; Darearts an organization that has a need. Wells Fargo uses its financial tentacles to help youths in Canada have a better summer, with activities through arts. there is a need for changing the lives of others without wanting something back in return. Wells Fargo in their giving did not directly ask for anything in return but there is always a price. Wells Fargo stated that they are giving this grant; what were the terms that Darearts agreed to for them to recieve these funds. what stipulation is given, what will be the benefit in the long run for these youths and their supporters. Will the youths be able to fully realize their dreams after the grant has run it course. Will others in the financial sector follow the path of Wells Fargo. It is fair to say that Wells Fargo wants to have an outcome of what the grant accomplished with these youths. Darearts goal for these youths is to challenge the status quo in the neighborhoods to say look our children deserve a chance to rise above the limitations placed on them. There needs to be a long range look at what are the outcomes of such programs, and how have they benefited our youths now and in the future. At risk youths have always been the worldwide cry, not many of our children are giving the opportunity to shine, to have their dreams become a reality. Darearts is one such company who is trying to set a presidence in Canada; and in the future we hope more countries will follow suit with this program. We are looking for tommorrow leaders and with building strong leadership skills as a start point these youths will continue to move towards changing tommorrow.
