The Power of The Transformed Innerman CoverIn ‘The Power of the Transformed Inner Man’, Dr. Ugwu has carefully put together ten chapters on some of the recurrent, provocative, spiritual-mundane problems that human beings have been contending with since life began on planet earth in the Garden of Eden. To buttress his points, in many instances, Reverend Dr. Ugwu has cited cognate Biblical passages and referred to the personal, ‘live and direct’ experiences he and members of the Redeemed Pilgrims Ministry had witnessed during the revival services they held over the years in Jamaica, which attracted hundreds of believers and non-believers alike. Below is a bird’s-eye-view of the content of each of the ten chapters, which you will find exciting to read.

– Chapter 1 Seeing it from God’s view point outlines God’s knowledge for each one of us, His plans for us, His invitation to us to partnership with Him and how God opens our eyes so we can see things the way He does.
– Chapter 2 Understanding the Inner-man illustrates how every human is a triune entity (made up of the spirit, soul and body) and that it is within the spirit of the redeemed person that communication with God occurs.
– Chapter 3 The nature and power of the human spirit highlights five characteristics of the un-regenerated human spirit, seven characteristics for the regenerated human spirit and the power of the transformed human spirit.
– Chapter 4 The nature and power of the human mind spotlights the nature of the human mind, nine attributes of the renewed mind and the power of the renewed mind.
– Chapter 5 The mind at risk portrays five of the main pathological features of the human mind that are in danger of being possessed and controlled by the devil.
– Chapter 6 The devil’s weapons against the soul focuses on five principal weapons of ‘selective’ destruction which the devil employs against the souls of human beings.
– Chapter 7 Understanding demonic oppression is an analysis of the nature of demons, ten features of the demon-oppressed, some everyday cases of demon oppression and how God delivered the victims during spirit-led revival sessions.
– Chapter 8 Understanding God’s weapons of victory presents a list of the weapons of victory and how to use the spiritual weapons to achieve individual victories over the devil and his agents.
– Chapter 9 Overcomer’s attitudes deals with the types of attitudes you should display and the actions you should take during your periods of crisis.
– Chapter 10 Strengthening the inner-man charts the ways in which the weakened inner-man can be spiritually strengthened and empowered to function efficiently.

I have been inspired and challenged by the insights and fresh interpretation of the scriptures regarding the power of the renewed inner man. I therefore commend this book to be purchased and read by all and sundry.
