MCLEAN, Va., — The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) selected Science Applications International Corporation (NYSE: SAIC) as one of multiple prime contractors for the Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions II (EAGLE II) indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to compete to provide a full range of information technology (IT) services on the Unrestricted Track of Functional Category 1. The multiple-award contract has a five-year period of performance and one two-year option. The contract was awarded to Leidos (legacy company formerly named SAIC), and will be novated to the new SAIC. Work will potentially be performed throughout the U.S.

SAIC’s award in the EAGLE II Unrestricted Track Service Delivery Functional Category, will potentially provide a means for SAIC to continue providing a wide range of IT support services to DHS. Services provided through the EAGLE II contract vehicle will directly support the DHS mission in areas such as border security, entry/exit and protection of critical infrastructure. Under the contract, SAIC will compete to provide service delivery capabilities, which may include a full range of services and products in support of developing, implementing, and maintaining technology across DHS. These consist of system design, development, implementation, and integration; software design and development; and operations and maintenance.
