The recording of an Informal Public Hearing held by the Federal Maritime Commission examining impacts from attacks on merchant shipping in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden is now available for streaming on the Commission’s YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e8kUde7brEM.
The hearing was held on February 7, 2024, and the Commission heard from ten participants representing the perspectives of shippers, ocean common carriers, and ports.
